High street lender Santander has widened Graham Sellar’s (pictured) remit to include being head of its intermediary channel.

The move, effective from 8 July, grows Sellar’s current role as head of mortgage business development to cover all field-based and telephone-based intermediary teams, alongside his existing role of managing key account management.

He will be supported in his role by Helen Harrison, who will manage the intermediary teams on a daily basis, as head of intermediary distribution.

Sellar will also work closely with Lynsey Mitchell as head of direct channels to ensure “alignment on Santander’s overall homes’ objectives”.

He has worked at Santander since 1996 in various senior roles and has worked closely with intermediaries during that time.

Sellar said: “Relationships with brokers are vitally important to Santander as a major UK mortgage lender. I’m pleased to have this opportunity to support all the teams who interact with brokers on a daily basis and to find ways in which we can continue to build strong relationships for the benefit of all our customers.”
