Keystone Property Finance enhances broker portal
Specialist lender Keystone Property Finance has improved its broker portal to “make it easier and quicker for advisers to submit cases”.

Keystone Property Finance has made two changes to the broker portal which aim to streamline the mortgage case submission process.

Advisers will only be able to clone cases at the full application stage, so brokers will not have to rekey information when placing multiple applications for the same client.

This will also reduce the amount of credit searches made against the client, so the impact on their credit rating will be less.

The broker portal will now offer page-by-page feedback on missing information from the application, so cases can progress smoothly and quickly.

The lender trialed the changes with a small group of brokers and is rolling it out more widely following a “successful test period”.

The cloud-based portal, which was built internally and launched in 2018, means brokers can manage and maintain all client cases in one place 24/7.

Keystone Property Finance: ‘Significant enhancement to portal’

Elise Coole (pictured), managing director, at Keystone Property Finance, said: “We’re a firm believer that technology should help brokers, rather than hinder them. That’s why we have rolled out two significant enhancements to our broker portal.

“The ability to only clone cases at the full application stage and the introduction of prompts to point out any missing information from an application will make the end-to-end journey much better.

“We’re one of the few lenders in the market with a completely bespoke system, meaning we have total flexibility about the way it operates. We’ll keep looking for ways to make the process of transacting with us as friction-free as possible.”
