In Spring Finance’s mortgages team, Will Merry, Binay Pun and Holly Stewart have been promoted to team leader, senior underwriter and senior assistant underwriter respectively.
Merry has been with the firm for almost a year, and before that, he was an underwriter at Market Financial Solutions for nearly two years. Before that, he was at Masthaven Bank for over four years, and prior to that, he was at Market Harborough Building Society.
Pun has worked at Spring Finance for around a year and was previously at Equifinance for almost three years in various underwriting roles. Prior to that, he worked at LendInvest, Vida Homeloans and HSBC.
Stewart has been with Spring Finance for around a year, and prior to that, she worked at Jems Recruitment for nearly six years.
The firm said the promotions will support the growing business levels in the division.

Within its bridging team, Wayne Fitzpatrick will take on the role of credit manager, Ginny Warby will become a senior business development manager (BDM), and Tiana Semple and Georgia O’Donnell will take on underwriter positions.
Fitzpatrick has been at Spring Finance for around two years, and before that held roles at Market Financial Solutions, Fleet Mortgages and Complete Cover Group.
Warby has worked at Spring Finance for nearly three years and was previously at Masthaven Bank for more than six years.
O’Donnell has been with Spring Finance for around two years, and before that was at West One Loans for over four years.
Spring Finance said the bridging team has grown significantly since it was launched in 2022 and was planning to add a further four members to the team.
On the servicing side, Chris Chew has been promoted to director of recoveries, while Tania Smith has been given the role of team leader.
Chew has been with the firm for over 11 years, and before that was head of lending at Brightstone Law for around 20 years.
Smith has been at Spring Finance for just under a year, and before that worked at Pepper Advantage and Metro Bank.
The firm said that all the above promotions highlighted the “growth ambitions” of the company, and all three divisions were recruiting heavily and expecting to grow headcount in excess of 50%.
