Real estate lending and investment platform Tab has appointed Michael Grant as its head of sales.

He will start at Tab from 2 July and will lead the sales function, with a focus on “accelerating growth, refining sales strategy, and strengthening client relationships”.

The appointment shows the firm’s “commitment to continued development and the delivery of transparent, customer-led service”.

Grant has previously worked at West One Loans for nearly 11 years, most recently as the head of sales for bridging and development, and as a business development manager (BDM) before that.

Prior to that, he was a roving underwriter for the South East and Wales for OneSavings Bank, and before that, he was a customer account manager at The Loans Engine for around a year.

Duncan Kreeger, CEO of Tab, said: “Tab has always been built on capability, integrity, and pace. Michael embodies all three of these qualities. His appointment adds significant strength to our leadership team at a pivotal moment for the business, and we are confident he will make an immediate impact as we continue scaling.”

Grant added: “I am excited to be joining TAB at such a pivotal time in its journey. The business is scaling fast, with clear ambition and a strong sense of purpose; exactly the kind of environment where I thrive.

“I have known Duncan for years; he gave me my first real opportunity in the industry, and I have always had huge respect for his vision and leadership. It felt inevitable that our paths would cross again, and I am looking forward to helping drive the next chapter of Tab’s growth.”

The firm recently relaunched its core lending products, Tab Mortgage and Tab Bridge, which it said would lay the foundations for it to move from being a bridging lender to a mainstream specialist lender.
