The teams will oversee loans from £2.5m to £50m on buy-to-let (BTL), commercial and bridging loans.
This comes after a successful year for the division, which saw its largest new business transaction of £44m. Shawbrook plans to invest further in the proposition with a relationship-led approach.
The dedicated structured real estate teams aim to align deal complexity with specialist support. The specialist structured real estate team will be led by Dan Standing and focus on a responsive, relationship-led service for mid-market transactions between £2.5m and £10m.
The complex structured real estate team will be led by Tirath Singh and support larger, more bespoke deals that require tailored structuring on loans up to £50m.
In addition, Shawbrook has improved the pricing of its structured real estate product range and introduced dedicated large loan bridging products. The new products have been designed to support time-sensitive or complex transactions.
