Shawbrook Bank adds two BDMs to sales team
Shawbrook has hired Amanda Meadows and Shrena Patel as business development managers (BDMs) for its commercial lending arm, joining from Darlington Building Society and Santander respectively.

Meadows will be covering the Midlands and South Wales, while Patel (pictured) will be covering London and the South East.

Meadows is an experienced strategic relationship manager with a career spanning more than twenty years across the mortgages and financial services markets, most recently as key account manager at Darlington BS.

Patel joins Shawbrook after fourteen years within corporate banking, with the last nine spent at Santander working in the London consumer team supporting trading businesses.

The lender said that both will be crucial in building and enhancing new and existing broker relationships across their dedicated regions.

Meadows said: “I am excited to join Shawbrook to have the opportunity to bring my skills and experience to a bank that differentiates itself by concentrating on markets where their specialist knowledge and personalised approach to underwriting offer a very competitive advantage.”

Patel added: “I am looking forward to my new role and working within the well-established commercial team. I can’t wait to get out on the road meeting new and existing brokers, growing these relationships while providing solutions to client’s investment needs.”
