Knowledge Bank has added specialist lender Tab to its criteria sourcing system.

Users of the platform can now check the lender’s criteria against their client’s circumstances. Tab offers first and second charge loans for residential and commercial purposes.

During 2022, Knowledge Bank added 16 lenders to its platform and now offers brokers access to over 280 providers across seven lending sectors.

Shane Chawatama (pictured), sales director at Knowledge Bank, said: “Tab is a terrific addition to the Knowledge Bank system especially in the midst of a tumultuous lending landscape with interest rate rises and product and criteria changes coming thick and fast.

“Our brokers are searching for innovative and creative lending options from lenders in this ever-challenging environment and Tab provides a fantastic product offering underpinned with great technology.

“Tab is sure to play a big role for many brokers in 2023, we are very pleased to welcome them as the latest lender on the system and look forward to our partnership with them.”

Duncan Kreeger, CEO and founder of Tab, added: “Being part of the Knowledge Bank system is a brilliant opportunity for Tab to extend our reach to the brokers that may not have had contact with us before or even heard of us.

“Brokers will be able to immediately see where Tab fits into their search criteria and know if we can help them with their client’s needs. This enables our sales team to make new connections and work together with them on future cases.”

At the beginning of December, Mortgage Solutions reported that Knowledge Bank has introduced functions which will allow brokers to see which lenders allow flexibility after an offer has been issued.
