HTB boosts development finance team with relationship manager
Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has grown its development finance team, with Lucas Cutts (pictured) coming on as relationship manager for London and the South East.
In his role, Cutts will oversee HTB’s development finance projects in London and the South East, leading due diligence and progress deals to completion so that cases move at speed, stay on track and ensuring a full picture of the customer’s case is presented clearly for approval and completion.
Cutts reports to Uliana Kuzmis, deputy managing director for development finance at HTB.
Cutts joins HTB from Blackfinch Property, where he worked for nearly four years. He was most recently assistant investment manager, and before that was an investment analyst and investment assistant.
Before that, he worked at Equilaw for around four years, initially as a team leader and then as a senior paralegal.
Kuzmis said: “We are thrilled to welcome Lucas to our development finance team. In the short time he has been with us, he has demonstrated exceptional development finance knowledge, an enthusiastic work ethic and excellent commitment to our borrowers and brokers.

“All that in addition to a magnificent sense of humour and impeccable style. I have no doubt that Lucas will be hugely successful in his new role.”
Cutts added: “This is an exciting time to become part of HTB’s award-winning development finance team. I’m proud to be joining a dynamic and market-leading team with a proven track record in delivering exceptional service in such an important sector.
“This is a great opportunity to build on my background in real estate and contribute to the team’s success going forward.”
HTB has been growing its team, recently hiring Jessica Winstone-Adair as development finance lending director for London and the South East. It also added two relationship managers, Pippa Betts and Elysia Walters, to the team.
The lender’s “customised loans” are available on a residential and commercial basis to experienced property professionals across England and Wales on facilities ranging from £1m to £15m.
