YBS Commercial adds two relationship directors to South East team
YBS Commercial Mortgages has appointed Dan Sloman and Lee Johnston as relationship directors for its South East team.

As relationship director, they guide the customer through the commercial mortgage application process through to offer and clients can get in touch with them directly regarding their case.

The South East team has 13 members, including the regional director who leads the team.

Sloman joins from Handelsbanken where he worked for nearly five years, most recently as a corporate banking manager.

Before that, he was at Royal Bank of Scotland as a business relationship manager for nearly three years and prior to that worked at Natwest for around eight years as a customer adviser and branch manager.

Johnston also worked at Handelsbanken for around a year as a corporate banking manager and, prior to that, was also at Royal Bank of Scotland for around eight years, most recently as senior relationship manager.

Andrew Edwards, regional director for the South-East for YBS Commercial Mortgages, commented: “I’m so pleased to welcome Dan and Lee to the business, and I look forward to seeing the impact they are sure to have on the South East team, which has almost doubled in the last 12 months.

“Our recruitment drive this year really demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our regional teams and providing as much support as we can to the commercial market and all our clients.”

Dan said: “It’s an exciting time for YBS Commercial Mortgages and I am looking forward to combining my passion for customer service and financial services experience in order to enable people to benefit from our high quality, competitive product range.”

Lee commented: “I am pleased to have joined a growing part of a long-established organisation with such a great reputation. I have great confidence that YBS Commercial Mortgages is well positioned to deliver positive outcomes for its customers and brokers, and I look forward to contributing to this in the years ahead.”
