Monument Bank appoints Maclean as new chief of staff
Challenger bank and specialist buy-to-let lender Monument Bank has hired Anita Maclean as chief of staff.

In her new role, Maclean will support the senior leadership team in its drive to push forward critical projects and strategic initiatives.

Maclean is a veteran of the financial services industry with more than 28 years’ experience. Most recently, she held a variety of leadership roles at digital start-up banks Recognise Bank and Revverbank.

Prior to this, Maclean held senior leadership roles at Santander Corporate & Commercial, BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank.

She will join the firm’s executive team and report directly to chief executive Ian Rand.

Rand said: “I look forward to working with Anita as part of the executive team. This is a crucial role, actively driving progress around our company goals, and co-ordinating operations and business planning.”

In a LinkedIn post, Maclean said: “I am thrilled to announce that I have joined Monument Bank. As chief of staff, I will help develop the bank in its next phase of growth post mobilisation.

“Our vision is to build a new financial experience for the mass affluent who for too long have been left under-served by the market. I look forward to working with the great team at Monument.”
