Kuflink hires Ed Hounsell as chief marketing officer
Kuflink Bridging has appointed Ed Hounsell as chief marketing officer, joining from Secure Trading where he worked as head of marketing.

 

This follows the appointment of Terry Pritchard as head of origination from fellow peer-to-peer firm Lendy, where he had been undertaking a consultancy role.

Hounsell brings a wealth of experience in marketing, product development and improving customer experience from across the financial services industry.

Hounsell’s career started with Lloyds Bank credit card marketing and TfL where he worked on London’s Oyster card and contactless rollout.

A spokesperson from Kuflink told Mortgage Solutions that prior to his role at Secure Trading, Hounsell worked as global digital product manager at Aviva.

Ed Hounsell said he was excited to be working in the evolving peer-to-peer finance industry.

“With the rise of challenger banks and fintech, customers are waking up to the benefits of alternative finance,” he said.

Narinder Khattoare, CEO of Kuflink, said Hounsell was an important part of its plans to launch of several innovative new products.

He added: “The new chief marketing officer will bring a tighter focus to customer engagement and communications as well as using his extensive financial marketing experience to ensure the successful rollout of numerous exciting new ventures for Kuflink.”
