The British Mortgage Awards 2020 will be rescheduled in response to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The awards, which had been scheduled to take place on Thursday 9th July, will now be held on Tuesday 15th December at the Park Plaza, Westminster, London.
Nominations are now closed for The British Mortgage Awards 2020.
The judging day will take place on 10th & 11th June.
The welfare and safety of all guests, sponsors, suppliers and colleagues is our top priority and with the uncertainty around how this situation will evolve over the coming weeks, we feel that this is the most appropriate course of action in the current climate.
In the 15 years since The British Mortgage Awards were introduced, the industry has undergone several seismic shifts. But each year our nominees and winners have demonstrated excellence in the intermediary sector. Every individual has shown a willingness to embrace change and innovate, or adapt and seize the opportunity that change inevitably creates. This year our finalists will have navigated through unprecedented challenges to our market and to society and will have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the best customer outcomes in such difficult circumstances.
The Mortgage Solutions team believes it is always vitally important to recognise such excellence, no matter the market. Not only does attaining recognition at these awards reward and motivate the best people, the event itself offers peerless networking and a moment to reflect on the industry’s collective and individual resilience.
Taking the time to recognise excellence is positive not just for the individuals concerned, but for the market in general, a view shared by key industry leaders…..
“The British Mortgage Awards is a celebration of the achievements and success of our mortgage industry, which in 2020 has never been so important. Each and every one of us can take pride in the resilience of our mortgage market, businesses, colleagues and friends. PMS and Sesame look forward to celebrating with our exceptional industry leaders on 15th December.” Jane Benjamin, Director of mortgages, SBG
“The BMAs acknowledge the best of individual human endeavour in our marketplace. Never before has it been more important to recognise the human achievements of last year, but also how we have adapted to the environment in which we now find ourselves to ensure the mortgage market thrives for customers in a new world.” John Cupis, Mortgage director, Openwork
