Nottingham BS and Magellan boost intermediary sales teams
The Nottingham Building Society and Magellan Homeloans have boosted intermediary sales team with hires from the mutual and specialist lending sectors.

Deborah Reeves has joined the Nottingham as corporate accounts manager in its broker team. Reeves joins the mutual from Skipton Building Society where she held the position of key relationship manager.

Reeves’ role is newly-created, as the society works towards strengthening its intermediary team.

The society reported record gross annual mortgage lending of £798m in February an increase of 24% on the previous year. In quarter four, the lender joined Legal and General’s mortgage panel, as it targeted mortgage business from the intermediary sector.

Reeves has previously worked for GE Money, Co-operative Bank, Mortgage Advice Bureau and Yorkshire Bank, in a financial services career spanning 18 years.

Specialist lending sector

Specialist mortgage lender Magellan Homeloans has recruited Pauline Hibbert as regional sales manager with responsibility for the east Midlands.

She joins Magellan from secured loan lender Central Trust and has also held roles at Clever Lending, Payplan Financial Services and Alliance and Leicester.

Jason Neale, sales director at Magellan Homeloans, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Pauline to Magellan and our rapidly growing team. Pauline brings with her considerable experience and will be able to help brokers in the east Midlands place challenging cases and develop further business. I would like to wish her every success for the future.”
