Halifax has launched a £1,000 cashback offer for first-time buyers and home movers.
The offer is open to first-time buyers and home movers who complete on a qualifying mortgage and is available on Halifax Intermediaries’ range of fixed rates for homemovers and first-time buyers, but not on its tracker products.
The lender said it was available until 24 June 2018, but that it could be withdrawn at any time.
Halifax Intermediaries head Ian Wilson said: “We’re hoping it will help ease the financial burden for home buyers getting on to the housing ladder for the first time and those moving house, when extra cash can come in handy after committing to a new mortgage.”
