After a record year, mortgage distributor 3mc has confirmed it is in discussion with several new lenders in order to extend its proposition
The company processed £1.6bn of enquiries and completed nearly £270m of mortgages in the year to date. It has 2,800 brokers on its database, with nearly 700 having registered this year.
Doug Hall, director at 3mc, said: “We’re also working with 14 specialist lenders and are currently in discussion with several new lenders which will enable us to extend our product proposition into market niches where we’re not currently active.”
3mc plans to extend its commercial mortgage range, particularly specialist buy-to-let, but the company is currently under a non disclosure agreement as to the lenders it is talking to. However an an announcement is expected by the end of the half year 2015.
