London & Country (L&C) has launched a free service, Mortgage PROMPT, designed to alert borrowers three months before the end of their scheme so they have time to review their options and take appropriate action. Based on figures from the Council of Mortgage Lenders, UK borrowers could be losing about £360m each year simply by waiting too long to switch lenders.
