Danske Bank has partnered with DPR to establish an automated mortgage origination system.

The solution is designed to optimise operational efficiency ensuring applications are handled consistently in line with the bank’s policies.

It provides intermediaries with online access to Danske Bank’s latest residential mortgage product range from initial inquiry to real time decision.

Danske Bank has also put in place DPR’s business intelligence integrated platform. This provides a range of origination reports to keep track of the bank’s operations, covering distribution, operational management, as well as regulatory compliance.

Timothy Turner, head of business development at Danske Bank UK, said: “We selected DPR to establish our new mortgage origination system due to the high levels of automation and experience in the intermediary market. We have already established an accomplished relationship and have further plans to work with DPR on a number of other projects, with the aim to make banking easier for our customers.”

Dave Patel, director at DPR added: “Our collaboration with Danske Bank has resulted in supporting Danske Bank’s move away from a manual process to a more automated one. Together we have established a system tailored to Danske Bank’s requirements, to begin their journey. We look forward to working closely with Danske Bank on other projects.”
