Core sourcing system goes live
Client Data Systems (CDS) Group has launched the standalone version of its mortgage sourcing system, TheCore.

The launch follows the release last year of the sourcing engine element only which was designed to be embedded into firms’ own client relationship management systems.

The system has been released to a select group of brokers who had pre-registered but now all brokers can register for a FREE trial through the website.

TheCore offers a combination of online and offline technology with ‘as they happen’ product updates.

Richard Hurst, marketing director at Client Data Systems said: “The main focus when developing TheCore was on the most crucial aspect of mortgage sourcing, the accuracy of the results. Our mortgage data capture system uses over 1,700 data fields compared to older, existing systems that use circa 200.”

Hurst said with some sourcing systems, the pace of product updates continue to frustrate brokers with some systems updating twice a day.

The Core offers advisers the main and reversionary rate and cost and also a list of possible products the client could have qualified for and may still qualify for, say with a larger deposit.

“We are also working very closely with lenders to ensure product and criteria accuracy and, unlike other systems; CDS does not charge lenders for displaying their products on TheCore mortgage sourcing system,” said Hurst.
