The Co-operative Bank’s intermediary lender has recruited 10 new business development managers, meaning that 18 people will over newly-created territories giving intermediaries in these areas a dedicated point of contact.
Eight new broker advisers have been appointed to provide support with general pre-application enquiries and registrations.
The lender has also created a new internal account management team to improve telephone support to brokers.
Platform head of intermediary distribution Neil Wyatt said: “We’ve added new people with significant experience and expertise of working in the sector and have shaped a team using feedback from brokers about what they would like to see from us.
“Brokers can expect to hear a lot more from us in the coming months about the plans and initiatives we have to increase our support to the intermediary market.”
