Both telephone BDMs and three of the five new field BDMs have already been placed, with the two remaining field BDMs currently being recruited for Manchester and South London.
A spokesperson from Coventry told Mortgage Solutions this is to help deliver the program announced by the lender in July providing every registered broker with two BDMs, one in the field and one on the phone.
The three field BDMs already in place are Michelle Milne, Sonya Willcocks and Simon Kimber, covering respectively Essex, Reading and West London as well as the Kent area. Whilst Milne and Kimber joined from Leeds Building Society, Willcocks joined from Buckinghamshire Building Society.
The telephone BDMs who are already in place are Leanne Conlon, covering Surrey, Sussex and South cost, and Nino Pap, covering North, South and West London. Leanne Conlon joined from Personal Touch Financial Services, while Nino Pap joined Coventry after having spent most of his career as a branch mortgage adviser for Santander, Barclays and Lloyds Bank.
Kevin Purvey, director of intermediaries, said the team is delighted to be able to announce these new appointments.
He said: “Brokers told us that they want more BDM contact and this additional support means that we can provide all brokers registered with us with their own field and telephone BDM. Our new team members bring a wealth of experience to their new roles, and we’re confident that they will help to ensure that we provide the best service we can to our intermediary partners”.
