It urges the UK’s principal political parties to adopt a focused policy approach to address issues including the level of competition in the UK mortgage market, support for homeowners and first-time buyers and ensuring product diversity.
Keith Street, head of Kensington, said: “While we have welcomed government action to support the industry and homeowners we believe that much more needs to be done to create a long-term sustainable market and prevent a decline in choice for UK mortgage customers.”
The manifesto comes in the same week Kensington revealed it wouldn’t discount borrowers with CCJs to their name.
