TMA bolsters conveyancing panel
The Mortgage Alliance (TMA) has added BM Conveyancing to its conveyancing panel.

The link offers TMA members direct access to the BM Conveyancing service, which allows clients to choose a law firm by price, location or client rating and brokers can also add local solicitors to the panel.

The service guarantees that no legal fee will be charged without completion and offers support alongside online case tracking, a simple registration process and online training demos with referral rates of up to £200 per case.

Andrew Burton, an independent mortgage adviser at Franklyn Alexander LLP, added: “I was a little skeptical at first when given the concept of the online solicitors but in reality this has really helped my business in a number of ways. The main benefits to us as the brokers is that we can retain control on the clients buying process whilst being provided with an additional income which can help in these difficult times. I find, all in all, that using BM Conveyancing has really helped both my income levels and the service I can offer to my clients as a whole.”

Phil Whitehouse, head of TMA, said: “The days are long gone when mortgage intermediaries can afford to let their clients run the chance of choosing their own conveyancing organisation or worse still ignore the opportunity of recommending a conveyancer.”

Phil Rickards, head of sales at BM Solutions, said: “As well as the sort of 5 star service brokers have come to expect from BM, intermediaries can earn good rates of commission to help to build a valuable additional income stream.”
