TrigoldCrystal adds buildings & contents quotes to broker websites
TrigoldCrystal has added Buildings & Contents insurance sourcing plug-ins to its broker websites and its own mortgage sourcing and best buys.

The new plug-ins are designed to sit inside a broker website so clients can research and apply for insurance via the site or get in touch with their adviser about B&C insurance.

If they apply straight through the site the broker receives commission.

Insurance firms quotation software the Source and insurance network CETA have joined the sourcing software firm to offer the plug-ins to brokers, which will be available as an option to advisors taking one of the TrigoldCrystal-designed advisor websites from the 6 April.

Jon Whitmore, joint CEO of TrigoldCrystal said  this is a key way for brokers to improve their online presence.

“It is clear advisers have a huge appetite to make the most of the internet. With the important addition of these impressive home insurance plug-ins to the TrigoldCrystal WebTools suite we have even more to offer our clients, many of whom welcome the idea of being able to provide the kind of services previously only offered by price comparison sites.

“This way they keep close to their clients, project a professional image through leading-edge technologies and generate enquiries from new prospects.”

Mick Cairns, head of sales at the Source, added: “Consumers may want to research products online, they may also want to apply themselves, but we think it is vital that they do so in a broker-friendly way – either by using a broker website to apply which earns them commission, or by researching on their site prior to seeking advice.”

TrigoldCrystal said that one other company will be joining it next week to help promote the plug-ins to brokers.
