Iress launches XPlan Mortgage tool for intermediaries
IRESS has launched a solution to help mortgage brokers streamline workflow across advice, mortgage sourcing, activity management and protection sourcing.

The system, XPlan Mortgage, allows intermediaries to compare mortgage products, generate KFIs and use a range of interactive tools to help explain to customers the impact of overpayments, interest rate and term changes to a mortgage.

Launched using the Trigold mortgage sourcing module, the system is cloud-based and can be accessed across multiple platforms and devices.

Iress plans to launch further modules this year, including integration with its Exchange for Protection Sourcing, which it says will enable advisers to meet the protection needs of their clients more efficiently.

Andrew Simon, executive general product manager at Iress, said the group had developed the system in response to ‘growing demand’ from mortgage brokers for online and multi-device capability.

“We are committed to supporting the evolving needs of mortgage intermediaries, making it easier for them to advise on and sell mortgage products. Our XPLAN Mortgage product is central to this, and this first Trigold sourcing module will help improve the speed and efficiency of the mortgage sourcing process for our clients,” he said.
