Santander simplifies broker support team contact
The lender said that from today brokers would only need to call one number to talk to the broker support team for new business and product transfer queries and existing mortgage applications.
Single number for new business and product transfers
To find the number, brokers need to enter their company and provide details on the ‘contact us’ page on the Santander website.
Admin and product transfer numbers withdrawn
Santander has removed its previous admin and product transfer numbers from use. The admin number was 0800 085 1390 and the product transfer number was 0800 032 7865.
Santander said brokers should remove these numbers from their contacts.
Changes follow broker feedback
The lender said the change came after listening to broker feedback and would make it easier for brokers to contact them.
The move simplifies broker access points and removes the need to determine which specialist line to call for different case types. Intermediaries submitting new business or handling product transfers will now be routed through a single contact journey.
