Almost 60% of brokers said they are unlikely to watch the coverage of the Royal Wedding tomorrow.

Around 30% said they would tune in, while 12% are still undecided.

Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement on 16 November after dating for eight years.

The wedding is set to take place at Westminster Abbey tomorrow morning, with celebrities, politicians and foreign Royals in attendance.

Thousands of tourists have already flocked to the capital for the wedding, which is expected to bring a massive boost to the economy.

Lee Farrington, mortgage adviser at Amber Mortgage Solutions said that he is one of the IFAs that has no interest in the couple’s marriage, and is simply looking for forward to a day off work.

“There’s been too much build up to the wedding that has put me right off. For me it’s just another day off work.

“I’m sure I won’t be able to avoid it completely as there are a few street parties planned in my area, but I definitely won’t be glued to my TV screen from 8am.”

Andy Sewell, managing director of brokerage OFM Group added: “I don’t dislike the Royal family entirely so I’m sure I’ll catch at least half an hour’s worth of tomorrow’s ceremony.

“We all need something to cheer us up right now and the Royal Wedding will be perfect for that.”
