Rental yields in the buy-to-let market are higher than expected, there is a low level of void periods between tenancies and the average landlord expects an average increase of 8.8% in yields over the next 12 months, according to Paragon’s property investor confidence tracking index (PICT).
John Heron, managing director at Paragon, said: ‘These findings show why customers find it difficult to relate to the ‘bubble bursting’ reports that have dominated the coverage of buy to let recently.’
