Specialist non-conforming mortgage network First Mortgage Options (FMO) has allied with Skipton Building Society subsidary, LifeQuote, to provide FMO members with access to non-FSA regulated life and critical illness assurance products from 10 life insurers.
Network members will be able to access the panel comprising: Friends Provident, Legal & General, Norwich Union, Prudential, Scottish Provident, Scottish Widows, Scottish Widows, Scottish Equitable, Standard Life, Swiss Life and Bright Grey, through LifeQuote’s comparative quotation system.
Commenting on the deal , Alan Hill, managing director of FMO, said: ‘LifeQuote gives us comparative quotations and the ability to provide a vital after sales processing and administration service. It also gives FMO members the ability to select indemnity commission with up to 20.5 and 22.5 times the monthly premium for 24 and 48-month periods.’
Richard Verdin, sales and marketing director of LifeQuote, said: ‘We are now working together to provide our internet-based quotation system for FMO’s member websites.’
