Max Wright takes up role as PTFS chairman
Former Personal Touch Financial Services chief executive Max Wright has begun his role as chairman of the network, taking over from former chairman Nick Bacon.

The appointment, which was announced in November last year, will see Wright (pictured) focus on providing strategic long-term growth and development for Personal Touch.

Wright’s role change follows the appointment of the network’s finance and IT director, Jane Cross, as CEO.

Wright said: “We would really like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Nick for all the hard work and support he has provided over the past few years, covering a period of great change not just for Personal Touch but also for the broader advice sector. His input has proved invaluable as we have made some major structural changes to our business resulting in a much more efficient and customer-focused company with quality at the forefront of our member offering.

“I am really excited to be taking on my new role as chairman, focusing on longer-term strategic planning alongside Jane and our other directors. Having pioneered the new network model which is proving so successful, we are now perfectly positioned to capitalise on all the new opportunities and challenges which the advice sector and particularly the mortgage and ‘at retirement’ markets present.”
