OneFamily has appointed Alan Waddington as its director of intermediaries and partnerships as it looks to expand its network of partners and intermediary distribution.
Waddington joined the company at the start of this month and he will broaden the firm’s intermediary distribution and grow its network of partners.
He was previously at Guardian Financial Services for around four years, most recently as head of intermediary sales.
Prior to that he was national account manager at British Friendly Society for nearly six years and before that worked at Staysure as its head of medical and life insurance for just over a year.
Waddington said the people first approach of the mutual is what attracted him to the role, as well as its growth ambitions.
Nici Audhlam-Gardiner, chief commercial officer of OneFamily said: “OneFamily’s growth over the last two decades has been fuelled by establishing strong and lasting partnerships and it’s that heritage that is our foundation for the future.
“So, we’re delighted to welcome Alan to the team, his vast experience will be invaluable to OneFamily as we expand our partnerships and our intermediary network further. He will play an important part in our plans for growth.”
OneFamily is a mutual and offers lifetime ISAs, lifetime mortgages, junior ISAs, child trust funds, bonds and over 50s life cover.
