HSBC cuts BTL rates
HSBC has reduced its buy-to-let rates across ranges by as much as 0.3 per cent for existing customers who want to switch rates, borrowing more, purchase and remortgage.

For buy-to-let existing customer switching products, two-year fixed fee-saver deals at 60 and 75 per cent loan to value (LTV) have fallen and are priced at 5.29 per cent and 5.39 per cent respectively.

Two-year fixed standard deals at 60 and 75 per cent LTV have reduced and stand at 4.69 per cent and 4.89 per cent respectively. Both come with a £999 fee.

Five-year fixed fee-saver deals at 60 and 75 per cent LTV have gone down to 4.79 per cent and 4.84 per cent apiece.

Five-year fixed rate standard deals with a £999 fee now come to 4.44 per cent and 4.64 per cent at 60 and 75 per cent LTV.

For existing customers borrowing more, two and five-year fixed fee-saver and standard deals have gone down on products up to 75 per cent LTV.

Two-year fixed rates start from 5.29 per cent for fee-saver deals and 4.69 per cent for standard deals.

Five-year fixed rate fee-saver deals begin at 4.79 per cent for fee-free orders and 4.44 per cent for standard products.

On the buy-to-let purchase side, two-year fixed fee-saver deals up to 75 per cent LTV have decreased, with pricing starting from 5.29 per cent.

Two-year fixed standard products up to 75 per cent have fallen and begin from 4.69 per cent.

Five-year fixed fee-saver deals up to 75 per cent LTV have gone down and pricing begins from 4.89 per cent while standard £999 fee deals start at 4.54 per cent.

Two-year fixed fee-saver and standard remortgage deals up to 75 per cent LTV have decreased and begin from 5.29 per cent and 4.69 per cent apiece.

Changes have also been applied to five-year fixed remortgage deals, with fee-saver products priced from 4.84 per cent and standard deals beginning from 4.44 per cent.
