L&G in life insurance partnership with Co-op
Legal & General (L&G) has partnered with Co-op Insurance, which will see members and customers given access to its life and critical illness cover.

The products included in the tie up are life insurance, decreasing life insurance (with or without critical illness cover) and over 50s fixed life insurance.

When a customer buys a policy through Co-op, they will also get access to L&G’s care concierge and wellbeing support via RedArc, which is provided free of charge.

The care concierge helps people find and arrange later life care, while the wellbeing support service is designed to provide customers and their loved ones with emotional and practical support.

Matthew Collings, partnership development manager at Co-op Insurance, said the partnership was part of its commitment to provide “products and services that make a difference to our customers’ lives”.

Claire Beardmore, partnerships director at L&G, added: “Co-op and Legal & General are strategically aligned in wanting to offer products that provide excellent value and important protection to families should they ever need it. With exclusive pricing for Co-op members, we are confident that this new partnership will be a great success.”
