Industry needs to promote itself better; £10bn more lending through brokers – panel
Ben and Grenville are right but it is fair to say that I and many others have been saying this for at least 10 years and little has improved.
Opportunities come and go but the broker fraternity remains indifferent to the need to educate the general public about the value they bring to their financial dealings.
Indeed, in the 10 years relationships with clients (database post code clients, as I call them) have deteriorated and we are seeing the ramifications of that with the impact of the RDR.
Networks, clubs etc. need to do more to support their members but the solution is very much in the hands of the individual business and their attitude to the opportunities that exist and the ability of their staff to deliver… it has never been and will never be any different.
Good luck gentlemen.
