Advice firm ordered to repay £7k fee to unhappy client

I think that such financial issues must be solved in a court. The client has all rights to reject the transaction until she has signed her signature. And after this she loses an opportunity to change the conditions. However she can cancel the procedure, but then she must repay the determined fee…[]

For example, when I contact new payday lenders online I have an agreement where all terms and conditions are written. That is why I always understand my rights and can cancel the agreement before I have signed it.

Advisers welcome ‘ingenious’ stamp duty overhaul

Ingenious? I have already had two estate agents indicate that they expect prices to rise quickly for property which previously would have just fallen below the £250,000 price band. Wave goodbye to £249,995 asking prices; especially on new homes.

Osborne scraps Stamp Duty slab structure in Autumn Statement

Should have put the Stamp Duty Land Tax on the seller, they’re the ones making the money from the sale, they pay no tax on the profit. This would also save the buyer having to find additional funds on top of the purchase costs they have to fund. Its difficult enough trying to fund a good size deposit.

Stamp Duty reform – the industry view

“A kick in the guts for those looking to buy a multi-million pound property”??
That’s okay, they can pad their waistline with their wads of cash…

Estate agent’s bikini ad banned for being ‘sexist and demeaning’

More boring pointless political correctness from the self-appointed arbiters of what is and is not acceptable. I bet that getting the ad banned is the highlight of the year for the sad sacks who complained; a true shining moment of achievement in their otherwise dull and empty lives. Note to ITV: Screen some repeats of The Benny Hill Show to give them something else to whine about; It can be their Christmas present. Thank God I was young and able to have fun in the 1970s. All this re-tread, small-minded Victorian prudery makes me puke.

Don’t sit on the fence Neil, say how you really feel..

And you’d all feel the same if it was your daughter/sister/wife/girlfriend in the photograph would you? Or going along to do the valuations having been paraded as bait for people like the appropriately named “sweaty”?
