Bridgewater sets home reversion forum dates
Bridgewater Equity Release, the home reversion specialist has announced three dates for its regular regional broker forums in March.

The dates include Lincoln on 3 March, at the White Hart Hotel in Stirlingshire, and 23 March, at the Best Western Park Hotel.

The third forum will be held in Exeter on 24 March, at the offices of Ashford LLP.

The forums start at 10.30am on all three days.

Advisers who are currently involved in the equity release market and those who are considering entering the sector are invited to attend.

Popular topics often covered include attracting a bigger client base, how to develop a fee-charging proposition, how best to educate consumers and a full overview of the current state of the equity release marketplace.

Peter Welch, head of sales and distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, said: “Equity release is a specialist market and we believe our forums can provide a level of information and support to those who are yet to offer this type of advisory service.  It is also an opportunity to meet with those who are already doing the job to see how they go about their business and the key areas to be aware of.”

He added: “Bridgewater staff will also be on hand to offer guidance about the overall market but in particular the home reversion sector which can be misunderstood or overlooked by some advisers.”

“All in all the forums are an opportunity to touch base with a specialist provider and advisory colleagues to talk about market issues and to gain insight and ideas about how to develop and grow an equity release advice offering,” Welch explained.
