Property website Rightmove increased its stranglehold on UK online property search traffic with 83.1% of all property page view searches in March.
Google Hitwise figures measure the number of page views converted to market share against the other top four property sites in the UK.
The website was one of the top movers in the FTSE 250 yesterday, after JP Morgan analysts suggested Google’s exit from the property search market confirmed the high barriers to market entry.
Analysts said the Rightmove share price was likely to rise to £12.50 if house prices rose 5% this year.
