Based in East Anglia and London, Choice Homes will offer mortgage brokers a minimum of £100 cash for each property they refer to the firm.
In addition, it has developed an exclusive deal for landlords referred to them by brokers, offering three months’ free full management service; 5% management fee for the remaining half of a six-month tenancy followed by a reduced rate for the rest of the tenancy; and rental guarantee that is not insurance based.
Its administration fee will also be cut from £100 to £70 and landlords will be offered reduced prices on EPCs, gas safety certificates and related services.
Richard Crouch, director of Choice Homes, said: “I am an ex-mortgage broker myself and know the struggle brokers have suffered over the last year or so. In light of that, we have developed an exclusive deal for mortgage brokers to assist them in securing a buy-to-let deal or a let-to-buy deal with a potential landlord and to earn from a recommendation just the same as they would earn from an insurance company or lender.”
He added: “Mortgage brokers can make a difference to a landlord’s yearly yield just by asking a few more questions than they usually would. For example, by finding out what the landlords is being charged by their agent would lead them to offering their exclusive deal from Choice Homes.”
