Lead Co-op plans expansion after Finance Leads Online demise
Lead generation service Lead Co-op has announced plans to expand following the closure of Finance Leads Online earlier this week.

As Mortgage Solutions reported earlier this week, Finance Leads Online will be wound down at the start of 2013 following a decision by its parent company Google to close the service.

Lead Co-op, which launched at the start of 2011, has now announced plans to take on more brokers looking for a new lead generation service.

Simon Baker, managing director of Lead Co-op, said that there was considerable concern in the industry following the closure of Finance Leads Online.

“We have received a lot of worried phone calls from advisers today who say they have received a letter from Finance Leads Online informing them that Finance Leads Online will no longer be trading after the end of the year.

“Many advisers are understandably concerned about where they are going to get their new business from both now and in the New Year.”

Baker added that the firm was prepared for the influx of new adviser enquiries from January and its systems would be able to cope with the new brokers coming on board.
