First Complete launches broker G-day support programme

First Complete has launched a range of tools to make sure its members are ready for G-day next month.

The network has been working since April on a programme to help brokers understand the EU Gender Directive and its effect on their businesses.

First Complete will help brokers understand the impact the new rules will have on clients and what leading insurance providers are planning ahead of the 21 December switchover date.

The network said it is encouraging brokers to speak to existing clients to ensure they have the best cover in place before the new rules come into force. It will provide email templates, sales tips and more tools to assist brokers through the transition.

Steve Berry, protection marketing manager at First Complete, commented: “This is a big change for the protection market. It is our responsibility to ensure everyone in our network understands how the directive will impact on their clients and their own businesses, and has the knowledge they need to succeed.

“Our latest broker sentiment survey confirms that a third of brokers expect the biggest part of their business to come from protection as they work to beat the deadline and ensure their clients are covered before the prices go up.

“Our members are good at what they do, and we’re doing everything we can to help, both before and after the deadline.”
