Yumo Finance merges with Prime Financial Solutions and Mortgages
Two financial advice firms, Prime Financial Solutions and Mortgages and Yumo Finance, have announced a merger.

The two firms will continue to operate under their separate brands, with Prime Financial Solutions and Mortgages overseeing property finance affairs. This will include purchase mortgages, remortgages, buy-to-let (BTL), bridging and commercial finance, and insurance.

Yumo Finance will act as a sister brand to Prime Financial Solutions and Mortgages. The firm will focus on specialist financial solutions including secured and unsecured business loans, invoice finance, merchant loan services, VAT loans, import and export finance, and overdrafts.

The firms said the merger would provide a full suite of financial services to cover the entire property market.

Joint partners Gareth Morgan and Mark Watts will lead the teams.

Morgan, managing director of Prime Financial Solutions and Mortgages since last year, has 15 years of experience in residential mortgage advice.

Before becoming managing director, he was a financial consultant at First Financial Solutions for nearly 14 years.

Watts has been relationship director at Yumo Finance since 2019. Prior to this, he worked at HSBC for nearly 17 years as business banking relationship manager covering South Wales.

Both Prime Financial Solutions and Mortgages and Yumo Finance are based in Wales and work with clients across the UK.

‘Setting the stage for accelerated expansion’

Morgan (pictured, right) said: “By merging our strengths, we are not only enhancing our ability to meet the diverse financial needs of our clients but also setting the stage for accelerated expansion.

“We have ambitious growth plans and, together, we are confident that our combined expertise will deliver an unparalleled client experience.”

Watts (pictured, left) added: “Our merger represents a strategic move towards greater synergy and efficiencies. Our businesses share many parallels, and we believe that, together, we are better positioned to pursue acquisition opportunities, to fuel our growth trajectory, and to solidify our position as a leader in the financial services sector.

“We are investing in new technologies to create a seamless experience whether you are a first-time buyer or a sophisticated property investor, and recruiting additional advisers; together, [we] look forward to a very bright future.”
