Cambridge Building Society
Cambridge Building Society has appointed Matthew Donaldson as its new non-executive director.
Donaldson, who joins the board with immediate effect, is currently group director of BGL Group Ltd, where he is responsible for the company’s four main trading businesses: Frontline, Bennetts, Junction and Comparethemarket.com. He was previously managing director of Budget Retail Ltd, a national high-street insurance intermediary with 84 branches.
Moveme
John Turpin has been appointed chief executive by Moveme.com.
He brings 20 years’ experience in the online and media sectors, and the development and marketing of innovative products and services.
Turpin joins from Bauer, where he was digital director for Bauer Radio. Prior to that, he spent a year at AOL Europe and seven years at fish4, where he was chief executive.
HBoS
HBoS has unveiled the new structure of its sales teams. The Halifax Intermediaries sales team will continue to be led by Ian Wilson, with Paul Silcock, Abi Greenhalgh, Karen Bowman and Fiona Cameron – who was previously at Intelligent Finance – fulfilling the national account manager roles.
The regional sales managers in Wilson’s team are Paulette Tajah-Bell, Ben Haywood, Wendy Smith, Viv Kennedy and, David Morris.
Jonathan Buckle and Nicola Goldie take on the role of national account managers for general insurance.
Phil Rickards remains at the helm of the BM Solutions sales team, with the three national account managers Gary Little and Brian McDermott and James O’Reilly. The four regional sales managers are Matt Cumber, Ian Bradshaw, Martin Garfoot and Leigh Church.
The third team will cover Bank of Scotland mortgages and Intelligent Finance. Led by Maria Harris, the team includes six regional sales managers: Steve Paul, Claire Aston, Paul Watts, Kevin Gaughan and Mark Attrill and Matt Beacham. The three national account managers are Keeley Mitchell, Bryan Hutchinson and Corina Roberts.
