Allianz
Allianz Retail has appointed Adrian Mitri as director of operations and Tom Moss as director of underwriting.
Mitri will oversee all aspects of operations for Allianz Retail, including the customer contact centres at Brentford and Bristol, account administration and surrounding support functions.
Prior to joining Allianz, he was director of servicing for a Lehman Brothers mort gage subsidiary, where he was responsible for all aspects of servicing including customer services, collections and third party administrators.
Moss succeeds Andy Beddall, who retires at the end of 2008, and will oversee underwriting, pricing, product management and development.
He brings nearly 30 years’ insurance industry experience to the role, the most recent gained overseeing the underwriting and pricing of brokered personal lines business for RSA.
Jon Dye, general manager for Allianz Retail, said: “Both will play a vital part in continuing the development of our retail operations, which will underpin Allianz’s growth aspirations for the retail division.”
Skipton Financial Services
Stephen Fry, previously a whole-of-market financial adviser at Skipton Financial Services (SFS), has been promoted to regional sales manager for the South West.
Fry has more than 15 years’ experience in financial services, and has been with SFS since July 2007.
In his new role, he will be responsible for managing the sales performance of 13 advisers across the South Coast of England, from Brighton across to the South West regions, and going as far North as Chippenham.
BDS Secured Loans
BDS Secured Loans has expanded its team with the addition of two underwriters.
Kim Osborne joins after several years with c2, while Zoe Kitson has experience working for first and second-charge lenders.
These roles will focus on maintaining service standards to introducer brokers and developing business relationships with key contacts.
Andy Cook, senior broker sales manager at BDS Secured Loans, said: “Their roles are vital to growing the business further.”
