TrigoldCrystal has announced it is to close its Leeds office and place the 20 affected staff in a consultation period over possible redundancy.

The staff will be subject to a group consultation period of 30 days followed by a 30 day personal consultation.

However, the company hopes to relocate some of the affected staff to its office in Bromsgrove.

David Aylmer, business development and marketing director at TrigoldCrystal, said the firm was working as hard as possible to save as many jobs as possible.

He added: “Following the merger between Trigold and Crystal in April, the firm carried out a strategic review and we decided that we needed to cut costs which has led to today’s decision. We are continuing to work hard internally to minimise the amount of affected staff.”
