Bridgewater said over the course of 2012, advisers can expect to see the launch of a series of support aids entitled, ‘Just a thought…’ which will detail some potential ideas for where equity release could be appropriate.
It will also offer a publication with sales aids covering areas such as house prices and gifting to children.
Other initiatives include a newsletter launch, which advisers can own-brand and send to clients, the launch of a technical helpline for advisers and the continuation of Bridgewater’s broker forums.
Peter Welch, head of sales and distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release said that it will continue to meet regularly with advisers through its forums and provide ideas and information on how they can broaden their business in the market.
“Following our successful state benefit seminars late last year, we will be holding more events which focus on specific topics in the market.
“As always we are listening to advisers about where they need support and will be responding throughout the year in order to help smooth the process and hopefully deliver a growing equity release market.”
