Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks launch fee-free mortgages
Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks is launching a fee free mortgage offer beginning Monday 11 June 2012.

Both lenders are waiving arrangement fees for customers looking to take a new mortgage or switching to Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank before 14th July.

The lenders said the offer represents a saving of £999 which is the current mortgage arrangement fee.

Both lenders have also reduced the rates for first-time buyer mortgages to 5.99% for a 95% Loan to Value (LTV) mortgage and 4.99% for a 90% LTV deal – and customers remortgaging from another lender are exempt from paying any legal or valuation fees.

Steve Reid, retail director for Clydesdale Bank, said: “At Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks we remain focused on offering a range of competitive products that meet the differing needs of our customers.

“Our fee free mortgage offer is designed to help people find the correct mortgage to suit their individual needs without having to pay an arrangement fee.”
