The app is available on Android and will be in the Apple Store later in February. It provides users with a 24/7 link to the portal for quotes and clients’ case progress.
The app’s features include the ability to obtain instant conveyancing quotes from phone or tablet devices, and viewing of all active and closed cases. Brokers can also receive “push” notifications when certain case milestones, such as case acceptance and completion, are reached.
Sortrefer managing director Kevin Tunnicliffe said: “For busy brokers looking after multiple clients at different stages in the process, this acts as an instant reminder facility so they can follow up clients immediately. It will help to cut down wasted time and speed up the whole system. We have been testing the app and our trial users have been very impressed.”
