HSBC has increased rates on its 85 per cent and 90 per cent loan to value (LTV) mortgages.
Rates for the two-year fixed mortgages at 85 per cent LTV have increased from 1.59 per cent to 1.84 per cent with a £999 fee while the fee-free option has gone up to 2.24 per cent from 1.99 per cent.
Three-year fixed alternatives in the same tier have rates starting from 2.14 per cent with a £999 fee – up from 1.89 per cent – or 2.34 per cent with no fee, an increase from 2.09 per cent.
The five-year fixed mortgages at 85 per cent LTV have seen rate increases by as much as 0.25 per cent.
At 90 per cent LTV, the two-year fixed rates have risen to 2.14 per cent from 1.89 per cent with a £999 fee or 2.39 per cent from 2.14 per cent with no fee.
Three-year fixed deals have been increased by 0.2 per cent and five-year alternatives have gone up by as much as 0.25 per cent.
Rates have also risen for the two-year trackers at 85 per cent and 90 per cent LTV.
HSBC’s 95 per cent LTV mortgage rates remain available for existing customers switching rates.
