Pepper Money launches marketing hub for brokers
Pepper Money has launched a new section of its website aimed at assisting brokers in marketing their business to borrowers.

The dedicated area runs through what needs to be considered before setting up a marketing campaign, and includes practical tips and insights into different types of customer. The lender said that the marketing hub covers the full spectrum of marketing approaches, from public relations and advertising to social media and email communication.

Pepper said that the marketing hub had been built because it understood that brokers are often time poor, while they may also have issues in picking out and accessing the technical expertise needed for a successful marketing campaign.

Brokers will also have the ability to contact a key account manager at Pepper Money through a form on the marketing hub pages.

Paul Adams (pictured), sales director at Pepper Money, said that the marketing hub would help brokers promote their services and potentially reach new target markets. He added that it could prove particularly useful for firms new to the industry looking to get “some early traction” as they attempt to build a new customer base.

Adams pointed to the lender’s research that only a quarter of borrowers with adverse credit would seek advice from brokers, which is down significantly from years past.

He continued: “There is more that brokers can do to create awareness about how their advice and services can accommodate those customers whose circumstances may not appear straightforward to them, but yet can be fully supported on the housing ladder or in refinancing to save money.”
