The system has been developed in collaboration with Age Partnership, with the intention of ensuring advisers can still support clients when they cannot release enough through equity release plans. In these instances, clients can be referred to Age Partnership’s pension income service.
Advise Wise said the service will help advisers achieve better customer outcomes, while clients get expert retirement guidance and comprehensive support.
The referral process has been streamlined, with advisers able to refer clients through a single click from the client’s case. This prompts the platform to pre-populate the referral form with the relevant details. This is then transferred to the Age Partnership team, though this team only has permission to work with the client on their pension needs, ensuring that the original adviser can continue to support them with everything else.
With the annuity referral service, clients have the option of receiving guidance or full advice, with the service provided by a team of experienced experts. Advisers earn a referral commission should the client go through with taking out an annuity.

The addition of the annuity referral service comes after Advise Wise added energy performance certificate features and responsible lending to its platform.
