Nationwide increases switcher rates
Nationwide has upped the rates for switcher products, switcher additional borrowing and additional borrowing rates.

The changes apply to selected two- and five-year fixed rate deals across its switcher product ranges from today.

Within its switcher range, which has a minimum loan of £1,000, two- and five-year fixed rates with and without fees between 60 and 95 per cent LTV have been increased.

Pricing for its two-year fixed rate at 60 per cent loan to value (LTV) has gone up to 4.69 per cent with a £999 fee and up to 4.99 per cent with no fee.

Its five-year fixed rate at 60 per cent LTV with a £999 fee is priced at 4.29 per cent and 4.49 per cent with no fee.

At 75 per cent LTV, its two-year fixed rate with a £999 fee stands at 4.84 per cent and its no-fee version is 5.09 per cent.

The lender’s five-year fixed rate is 4.54 per cent with a £999 fee and its fee-free version is 4.72 per cent.

Going up to 80 per cent LTV, the two-year fixed rate with a £999 fee is 5.22 per cent and 5.69 per cent with no fee.

Its five-year fixed rate at 80 per cent LTV is five per cent with a £999 fee and 5.13 per cent with no fee.

At 85 per cent LTV, its two-year fixed rate starts from 5.5 per cent with a £999 fee and 5.05 per cent for a five-year fixed rate. Its no-fee versions come to 5.7 per cent and 5.18 per cent respectively.

Going up to 90 and 95 per cent LTV, its two-year fixed rate at 90 per cent LTV is 5.5 per cent with a £999 fee, and its five-year equivalent is 5.19 per cent. The fee-free version’s pricing stands at 5.7 per cent for a two-year fixed rate and 5.24 per cent for a five-year fixed rate.

On the switcher additional borrowing range, which has a minimum loan of £5,000, two- and five-year fixed rates with no fees between 60 and 90 per cent LTV have been increased.

Two-year fixed rates begin from 4.69 per cent, and five-year fixed rates start from 4.29 per cent.
